Paddling in the age of COVID

What a blessing that paddling is an outdoor activity where social distancing is naturally part of the activity!

For now, we are only hosting groups of friends / family. No tours with a mix of strangers. Tour numbers can range from 2-8 people in a group.

All standard COVID protocols apply from wearing a mask when on land, to hand sanitising and hand washing, and not touching your face. We will also require you to complete a COVID contact sheet. This is inline with policies in place at our start/finish venues too.

Our plastic kayaks are sanitised before and after each trip. A kayak is assigned to you and your paddling partner and is not paddled or handled by anyone else on your tour.

Paddling equipment – paddles and lifejackets and drybags – are also sanitised before and after each tour.

We ask that you are conscious of your health and behaviour. We aim to minimise contact for our health and especially for the people in our lives who may be high-risk.

SEPTEMBER 2020: We are currently only running 2hr Scenic Paddle Tours as our other trips require shared shuttle transport to the put-in location. We are taking this one step at a time with regards to COVID safety protocols.
